Mr. Coughlin came to Pensacola International Airport after a 28-year career in the United States Navy as an Aviator and Commanding Officer. Over his Navy career, he served as an SH-60B pilot deploying worldwide in support of US Maritime Strategy. His shore duties spanned flight instructor duty, the Pentagon and multiple graduate study programs. He concluded his Naval career as the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Whiting Field from 2012-2015. Upon his retirement, he transitioned to the civilian airport industry getting his start as an Operations Officer at Pensacola International Airport. Soon afterwards, he was promoted to Airport Assistant Director. In 2017, Mr. Coughlin was selected for the position of Assistant County Administrator in Escambia County, Florida. In 2019, he was fortunate to return Pensacola International Airport as Airport Deputy Director and was subsequently appointed as Director in June of 2020.
Erica Grancagnolo
Air Service Development Manager; City of Pensacola
As air service development manager, Erica Grancagnolo is responsible for the development and implementation of market strategies to support the retention and expansion of air services at Pensacola International Airport. Ms. Grancagnolo has a diverse background in public service that includes economic development, business development and grants and special programs management. In 2020, Erica was a recipient of 850 Magazine’s Pinnacle Award; and has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration.
The What’s Up! Chat Series is an educational program which connects our membership with local experts and community leaders in an informal setting.
